Templates

FREE Templates/Models are available from WebsiteX5.com website. There are various topics that have been donated by users themselves. Incoporated is the .iwp that is needed to launch the project concerned.
These are good starting points to designing your own template, as you find out the actual structure of the template. See the template guide on the main websitex5.info

Another Example of Before and After

Even though the user had 1,000 templates within X5 they opted to create their own. Trying in the process to design a more personal design. For a first time user this we think was a bit over ambitious, but their goal was to publish as soon as possible to attract customers to their business. This was the ONLY reason they purchased X5.

New Website

We acquired the template from another website that caters for users of X5. So the .iwp was incorporated when we unzipped the package. Making it easier for us to save time in designing and start collecting the images required for the cleaning project
The website design colors were clean and we colored the text the same throughout the website.
The images we thought MUST be both domestic and commercial as the front page is very important for your companies image. Industrial machines are shown instead of domestic and an image of a building block/tower to suggest either you are a large company or you have contracts with large corperate companies.
A slogan was also introduced into the header banner, this should represent your guarantee of your commitment to the customer as this will be used when a complaint is brought forward. The choice is up to your own personal preference.

We made different levels and inserted the topics relevent to the menu buttons.
An example being the About button, the pages included were About, Offers, Vacancies and Area's of distance they would be prepared to travel to. The Area's included a map showing the boundaries or limitations of travel.

A visitor counter was inserted in the frontpage, these do often reflect the number of visitors depending if you configure the counter to count either unique or all clicks for the customer visits.

Published

On the net it went and the project was delivered to a very grateful user of X5.
They now have the responsibility of maintaining the website, which can actually now be left to its own devices. Running a business and a website is a mammoth task at times, especially if the website is of an e-commerce variety.
