Did you know that only a certain number of your fonts are visible on the internet??

Having made your website, you sit back and relax to admire your creativity! Only to find that cursive writing you used to introduce a particular subject is being viewed in a different font?
Why? The reason being that the visitor hasn't got that "Cursive Font" on their system! They will probably view it in Tahoma or Times New Roman. These are
"Browser safe fonts" When Microsoft made the OS they inserted a pack of fonts into each system, everyone has nearly all the same fonts. (Mac users to have relatively the same fonts)
So now you have to modify your text to accommodate everyones computer fonts. (Confusing isn't it) There is a way round this! This is to make images of the text concerned. These can be made in any image editing program. I suggest and I am a firm believer in Paint.net (Its FREE) See above for a typical example.

Serious! About your fonts?

Why not acquire a font viewer for your computer. This particular program AMP Font Viewer is an easy to use, but powerful font manager. Which allows you to get a quick overview of both installed and non installed fonts on your system. It can install and uninstall fonts and organise them into categories. To install this program, owners of XP or Vista need Administrators Rights for the functions to work ie: install and uninstall fonts. This is done by installing the AMP Font Viewer then Run the program as Administrator by right clicking on the AMP FV shortcut on your desktop.
