Deliver MP3 files in an Embedded Player

When posting an MP3 file first choose the player you want. (Hint: Only Windows, Quicktime and Real can play .mp3 files.) Flash players tend to ONLY play mp3's.

Embedding Sound into Flash [Non - HTML]

You can actually purchase a program that embed's the sound into the Flash player for you! So there's no linking to files.... you just insert the flash file (SWF) into X5 and that's it!! A better solution for the non - HTML person [Technophobe] Some programs even convert the sound file before embedding it!
Ok? The Sound flash program may cost a bit of your hard earned cash! BUT it's well worth the price it will cost you!! In fact mine has paid for itself 100 times over.... and don't forget you can change the design of the player as many times as you want.

FLASH EXAMPLES

INTRO PAGE in X5

In X5 the sound on the Intro Page is NOT embeded!! Its a Back ground sound and in practice only Internet Explorer supports the BGSOUND tag!! You will need to embed the sound manually for it to play in other browsers!!

NOTE: With a Windows player your browser determines which player you actually see. Even though you choose to post using a Windows player, YOU may actually see a quicktime player or real player. YOUR browser determines which player you see. You do not want the sounds to download on to the visiors computer (Image below) when the page is first opened - actually with this player you have a choice!!
