                          X5 is a very easy to use Web design program. When using this you will be taken step by step through a series of content features where you will be able to design and set up your Web site. By working through this step by step process you'll be able to create an entire Web site, with several pages, in less than an hour.

However

                          There is a hell of a lot more you can do with X5 than just a basic website!

Neat little trick for images in the Image Gallery & Slideshow!
If you hold the ctrl key down whilst selecting images you can insert them all at once. And if you select them all again in the list by using this method, you can apply all the same changes/effects at once!!

Adding an Animation and Text to the Header
If you look at the header there is an animation on there... a GIF animation. When you insert an animation by the picture function it actually stops working. The only way to insert it is to add it by using HTML which is depicted by the icon on the menu. The same with FLASH objects, if you want to insert text over the top of a flash oject use the HTML function once again.

Re-Direction Page - Example
A re-direction page is a modification of an Intro page in X5 Evolution.
Basically its a page where the visitor is re-directed to another website. This comes in useful if you have changed your Domain Name or your server and you want your visitor to go to your new website. This can be done so that your visitors/customers are re-directed automatically and you don't have to maintain that website until it expires. Go here...

Squeeze/Landing page
These are American terms used for a one page product/offer page. This is mainly for the entrepreneur! Using the custom template and a particular design, you can create a landing page to be proud of. These marketers pay $2000+ for designers to create these sort of pages. Using a particular paint program you can even make your own comment boxes etc.. Go here....

Multiple Intro Page
This is an Intro page with a difference! You can make it so it links to several websites at once, using multiple images. A standard template is not needed. See right for example....
Also another good example is the working website of Anne & Dieter: Cafeyaxha this style uses the principal of sub-directories as described in the Languages Tutorial (See below)

Continuous Music Website
Want to serenade your visitor's? Well now you can... have music playing whilst they peruse your website. No IFrames or gimmicks just a little trick of knowing how to do it!!

Under Construction Webpage
Let your visitor's know when your website is "Live" Create a one page website using the Custom Template and you can even insert a small email form to keep in contact with them. The music on the website is an invisible "FLASH" player put inside the footer!!

Add a Subject to your Email Link
Just add a few more letters to your email link to input a subject line within the email itself.

You can only insert one word because it doesn't allow GAPS or you could insert an underscore between them like this: Website_Enquiry. See a screenshot of WHAT TO DO HERE

Create an IFRAME SlideShow
Have images and HTML Webpages appear in your IFrame! Quite simply an IFrame is sort of a container to hold external files. GO HERE FOR AN EXAMPLE

X5 Email Form
The X5 email form can be enhanced to your own design flair? Simply by highlighting the form then selecting Cell Format and adding a colour or an image. This enhancement is particularly useful when the content of the page is a darker colour and the form needs to stand out against the background!!

Multiple Websites

Why just have one website?
When you have X5 you can create as many websites as you would like. You can have more than one website on your server! Create them for your family, pets, hobbies, relatives, friends etc.. Providing you have enough space on your server you can create 100's of websites for viewing on the internet. You can easily do this through X5. (See Tutorial on creating Sub-Directories)
